Slow the Burn
Secondary-progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS) is a form of multiple sclerosis (MS) that damages the brain. Without treatment, it only gets worse over time. Signs of progression are currently going unnoticed by neurologists, leaving patients with active disease to suffer alone. The earlier someone gets treatment, the more that can be done manage their SPMS.
Sculpted candles were made from 3D scans of real patients. As the candles burned, neurologists could see the damage being done, in effect burning into their minds the importance of diagnosing and treating SPMS early. Working alongside 21Grams, the advertising arm of Real Chemistry, our medical comms team was instrumental in delivering this unforgettable campaign.
Making HStory
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a severe skin disease that also creates profound psychosocial ramifications for those living with it. Until recently, HS was once thought of as rare because its prevalence had been significantly underestimated due to misdiagnoses.
A medical affairs team wanted to bring greater awareness to HS. To engage dermatologists, we designed, developed, and applied a holistic educational medical narrative that brought the unmet need to life through a variety of platforms. “Make HStory” also garnered attention among medical marketers, winning a Pharmaceutical Executive 2024 APEX award for disease awareness.

An extended reality in medical education
The reality is, immersing users in full 3D that’s projected into the real world can generate an experience where users can walk up to, around, or even inside of any structure you can imagine—even the human brain. And to further understand migraine, we created a unique Microsoft HoloLens experience depicting both MOA and MOD for several molecules used for treating migraine. During live symposia, HCP learners donned the HoloLens while simultaneously, an on-demand web-based version of the experience allowed us to reach an even wider audience, as well as provide anytime access to the educational content.
